Native resolution versus supported resolution

The second manipulated specification is resolution, and it uses a subtler wording trick.

Native resolution is the actual pixel count of the imaging chip. It sets the real limit on detail.

Supported resolution, often written “4K support” or “4K supported”, means only that the projector accepts a 4K signal. It then downscales that signal to whatever its native panel can display.
