This page explains how content on Black Friday Deals Store is researched, written, reviewed and kept up to date, and how our affiliate relationships work. What this site is, and is not

Black Friday Deals Store is an independent editorial site covering Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping in the United States. Our strongest coverage is cameras and optics, audio and music gear, and kitchen appliances.

We are not a retailer. We do not sell, stock, ship or service any product mentioned here. We do not process payments, cancellations or returns. Every purchase happens on the retailer’s own site, under their terms.

How we choose what to cover

We cover products and categories that people actually shop for during the Black Friday period. Selection is based on what is widely available from major retailers, what readers ask about, and where a discount is realistically likely during the sale window.

We do not accept payment in exchange for including a product, for a favourable write-up, or for a higher position in a list. No brand can buy its way onto this site.

How our recommendations are made

Product round-ups are built from publicly available information: manufacturer specifications, retailer listings, and aggregated customer feedback. Where we describe a product’s features, those details come from the manufacturer or the retailer’s own listing.

We are explicit about this: we do not physically test most of the products we list. Our value is in narrowing a large field down to a shortlist, explaining what separates the options, and flagging what to check before you buy. If you need hands-on lab testing, a dedicated review outlet will serve you better, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

Prices, discounts and availability

Prices and stock change constantly, and they change fastest during Black Friday week. Any figure mentioned on this site reflects information at the time of writing and may already be out of date when you read it.

The price shown on the retailer’s product page at the moment you buy is the only accurate one. We do not guarantee any price, discount percentage, or that an item will still be in stock.

How we make money

Black Friday Deals Store is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you buy through a link on this site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Commission does not change what we recommend or how we order a list. We earn the same whether you buy the first item or the last one, and we do not raise a product’s placement because it pays more. See our disclaimer and terms for the full statement.

Updates and corrections

Seasonal guides are reviewed ahead of each Black Friday and revised where products, categories or shopping advice have changed. The last modified date carried in each page’s structured data reflects genuine edits to that page — we do not refresh dates without changing anything.

If you find an error — a wrong specification, a dead link, a product that no longer exists, or advice that has stopped being true — write to us through the contact page. We correct confirmed errors and, where a correction is significant, we note it on the page.

Use of AI tools

We use software tools, including AI-assisted tools, to help with research, drafting and formatting. A human is responsible for what gets published: every page is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and that person is accountable for its accuracy. AI is not used to fabricate testing, experiences or opinions we have not actually formed.

Who writes here

Editorial content is published under the named author shown on each article. Author details are available on the about page.

Independence

No brand, retailer or advertiser has any editorial control over this site. We do not send drafts to brands for approval, and we do not remove critical commentary at a brand’s request.
